On the 7th day of Christmas my brain health tip for me is one B12 booster, iPhone 11 connection check, 10 minutes of meditation, and 9 ANTs to squash, 8 hours of sleep, and… 7 people to reach out to!
You probably have multiple people you plan to connect with over the holidays. You may have even submitted to meeting with folks that you don’t really want to get together with, but you let your spouse or friend convinced you. To make the most out of your holiday, be sure to prioritize at least the top 7 people who bring health, encouragement, prayer, laughter, and kindness into your life. Having healthy friendships can safeguard you from anxiety, help buffer your physical health, and… of course… protect you from loneliness. Here is what I would like for you to do… make a list of your top 7 people. These folks are the ones who know you best… know your fears and worries, have seen you at your worst, who know how to make you laugh and bring you good cheer, and are the ones you call first when things are not going well. I bet you have a few you can name right now that fit that criteria. Take the next step and make sure you have carved out plenty of time for them this holiday season. If you find that your social gatherings for the holidays is raising the grinch in you, then ABSOLUTELY call the top 7 people who bring out your inner Santa. Do it RIGHT NOW!
